    Description

    BOXART BOXING MEMORABILIA
An original programme from Sonny Liston's exhibition at New St James Hall, Newcastle on September 16th 1963; signed to the front cover by Liston in blue ballpoint. Thousands turned out in Newcastle city centre to witness the extraordinary sight of the
    Big Bear
riding through town on a magnificent white horse. Like a character from a classic western movie, he rode the horse from the Royal Station Hotel to the now-demolished New St James’ Hall where he gave a three-round boxing exhibition and demonstrated his training regime to onlookers. It was part of the Heavyweight Champs European Tour that summer. Also signed by a couple of other boxers on the show. Very good condition with expected handling creases; slight paper loss to the top of the centre pages.
The autograph is sold with a letter of authenticity from ourselves (BoxArt Boxing Memorabilia) guaranteeing the authenticity for life. We always stand behind the autographed material
    we sell -
and as per the terms of our LOA - will happily issue a full refund in the unlikely event that
it should not pass full authentication with PSA/DNA, JSA or Beckett.
