They are approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide
and vary in shades of tan or grey.

These 40 heart shaped beach stones were formed in the shape of a heart
by Mother Ocean over
years of time and tumbling tides
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
All 40 are holey rocks also known as a hag stones.  Bonus!
A photo shows them strung on a 20 or 6 gage wire, 1/4” dowel or 3/8” pipe.

Not sure what a hag stone is?
Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.
But what are Hag Stones?
Hag stones are stones that have a
naturally occurring hole inside them. These stones are often
found along the coastal points, beaches, and streams. These
holes occur from the elements
beating down upon them over
many years.  There are also speculations that these mysterious
stones may have been formed by a “worm hole”. A Hag stone is
also known as a Witch Stone
or Adder Stone or Holey Stone and
has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look through the holes
you can see fairies.
