    Description

You will receive exact basket in pictures.
    8" x 2¾"
basket is made from Telephone wires.
Zululand (yes that is the large area of South Africa where the Zulu live) is a remote area in the far North East part of South Africa that borders with Mozambique and the Indian Ocean.  Few tourists make it to this area.    Back to the "remote",  shipping (from Africa) is a main concern with these baskets.
I consider African baskets an excellent décor value.  A statement to women's art,  women who live in a harsh environment.  Universal art that will grace any home regardless of ethnic background.  Basket weaving is a dying art as this is a "rural" craft.  This basket should be considered investment art.
