ANTIQUE FOLK ART HAND MADE BASKET MINIATURE SWEET SEA GRASS & SPLIT PALM FRONDS

Description

This is an adorable miniature antique basket in the shape of a fat bottle. It measures approx. 2 3/4” tall and 3.5” wide at the bulbous center. The sweetgrass seagrass base is wrapped with split palmetto fronds. It is really old, but in excellent condition. No breaks or unraveling. I tried to take close up pics to show the sweetgrass peaking through the split palm. I don’t know what it was used for since it is so small. I put small bird feathers that I found around my property in it. It looked really cute. (I thought) if you want the feathers, just let me know and I’ll include them.
