It was originally published in 1972. This is the 2nd edition from 1974, however, as you can see, it was published as a loose leaf book and the yearly updates up to 1981 bringing the total pages to 168. It is much more than just the commemorative Christmas plates: it contains pictures, descriptions history and details of many other commemorative plates and tiles produced by the Fles, including designers names and other interesting information. This is by far the most detailed book I have come across on commemorative plates in my almost 50 years of collecting! There are also pages on the most important designers and painters...just too much detailed information to believe in a single volume....a must-have for the serious collector. It measures 10" X 7+".
