Condition is excellent with no sign of use and has original tag. The tag reads: “Used traditionally in Togo, West Africa to carry produce to and from markets and farms. Fair Trade, Hand-woven, African Grass Basket by the ALAFFIA COOPERATIVE.”  The signature of the weaver and the village and lot number are on the inside label.
