A RARE FIND IN THIS CONDITION.
Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous NATURAL POLISHED PETRIFIED WOOD FOSSIL DISPLAY SPECIMEN. This specimen is a great display piece of petrified wood showing typical striated lines with very lustrous faces. At one point there were hundreds if not thousands of these specimens available, and they are now seldom seen for sale like most classic minerals. This is a big solid slab of petrified wood with natural crystals that take you back in time. Petrified wood comes from fossilised wood, in which all the organic materials have been replaced by minerals. This makes the structure of the wood beautifully preserved. This piece would make a great addition to any mineral suite. It is in beautiful condition with felt bottom.
