Large 8” Carved White W/Brown Veins Onyx Stone Bowl Multi-Purpose Decorator Item

This beautiful vintage onyx bowl can be used as a decorator piece or as a small fruit bowl. It is 8” diameter and almost 3” on the bottom with a depth of a little over 2.5” I’ve included close up photos to shown that it has no fracture lines, is pretty much in pristine condition and has been a well cared for treasure. (We’re downsizing and sadly, some things have to go.)
This piece was purchased in the early-to-mid 1990s from a now-defunct retailer who specialized in objects of natural art/geological specimens from around the world. I’m pretty sure it had a sticker that stated it came from Afghanistan but that is long gone.
