Natural Shell fragment with face
Surf-tumbled by the tides and time.
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
The face on this shell is naturally occurring.
It appears to have been created by some type of Calcareous Tube.
I see a groovy surfer dude with the white being the curl of the best wave covering over him. Hang Ten!  Your interpretation may vary.
The shell fragment is 5/8” x 7/8” x 1/8” thick.
It has a light pearlescent sheen, black with matte white along the top-right.
The backside has waves of grey running through.
It is a fragment from an Eastern Oyster Shell.
No sharp edges. It is concave, not flat.
The shell in the photos is the one you will receive.
