Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Surf-tumbled by the tides and time.
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is approximately 1 1/8" x 1" x 3/8-1/2" thick.
The teardrop-shaped hole is large at about 5/8" x 1/2”.
(That is a 3/8” pipe in the 3rd photo.)
It is a medium gray color.
It is a very smooth stone, nicely rounded, with a tapered thickness towards the top of the hole.
Fits nicely in your hand for clear vision through the hole.
I present it as it was caught. Very nice specimen.

Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.

has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look through the
holes you can see fairies.
