Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Tumbled by the tides and time.
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is approximately 1 1/8" x 7/8" x 3/16" thick.
The hole accommodates the 20 gage wire.
It is a medium brown with striations of tan and dark brown.
It is a very smooth stone, nicely rounded.
Holds nicely in your hand for clear vision through the hole.
Simply unique.
Could it be fossilized or petrified wood or bone? Perhaps from a wrecked treasure ship or
a lost-at-sea broom handle. You can make up whatever story you want if it’s your stone....

and has quite a bit of lore and many magical properties associated
with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look through the holes
you can see fairies.
