Naturally Holey Beach Stone, Coquinoid Sandstone
Tumbled by the tides and time.
Wild caught by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
The stone is 1 1/8” x 1 1/4” x 1/4” thick.
The hole is heart shaped and about 3/16” at the top of the lobes.
It is speckled shades of grey and tan.
The entire stone is worn with edges rounded.
Easy to look through.
Would make an interesting holey rock.
This stone looks like the profile of a person to me. Your interpretation may vary.
