Authentic Ghana colorful baskets, handwoven, hand dyed
Baskets are sturdy but flexible & are made from thick tough elephant grass and dyed
with natural vegetable dyes. Baskets were made by women in the Widows Program
The purpose of the program is to support impoverished African women in their effort to care for themselves and their families; it provides them a means of employment and artistic expression.

Baskets was purchased in Ghana, West Africa in 2013 by my daughters who was working in an orphanage
NEW - never used - stored in climate control since purchase

open bowl basket #2- 7.5” diameter & 4.25” high (beautiful purple and violet color)
