This listing is for a wonderful vintage Delft porcelain "Porceleyne Fles" lidded box.
Beautiful all-over "Imari" hand decorated exterior with design featuring alternating floral panels enameled in cobalt and rust with fine gold overlay.
Box was made by The Royal Porceleyne Fles factory in Delft, Netherlands. The Delft "Imari" designs were created by Adriaan Pijnacker with inspiration from 17th and 18th Century Japanese Imari pieces.
Fully signed on base with the Porceleyne Fles trademark stamp "Delft" and assorted other marks including artist initials. Piece was s
old by Tiffany & Co. in New York.
Measures 3 1/2" high and 5 1/2" in diameter.
This lovely bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Weighs 1.2 pounds.
