Ooak Cloth Doll Soft Sculpture African American Baby Girl Eillen 18".

Description

Eileen was born in 8th June 2021 in my studio. It was a hot day in summer.
Baby Eileen! She represents a baby approximately 6 months old! She was made from 2 colours of  Waldorf Doll skin fabric. she was designed by me and I took pictures of reborn babies as a reference!☺ I dreamed of a baby that had that newborn lovely  sweet face. I saw her face in my dreams, and it was almost like she could breathe... But I had to wait a bit long before I could use my skills to bring her from my mind into the real world...
My skills  much-needed  to be mature so I had to study more about this wonderful felting technique...  Many days  went into finding her face in the wool with my felting needles tools.
I loved her as soon as she came to life but it was a remarkable day when I finally got to see her little face in my hands! She has beautiful glass eyes, her wig was made by me using ash-blond mohair, she about 18 inches long. I designed a new body sewing pattern for her. She has firmly stuffed and  weighted.
Her soft body is filled with mini stones,pellets and poly-fil to create a realistic feeling body and adds weight for the feel of a baby.
Her head need to be supported like a real newbor little one!
Her little head turns side to side.
This sweetie has so many details like fingers, nails, toes, belly button, dimples in the face and a plump face completely sculpted with thread and needle using the technique of needle felting sculpting carefully detailed facial features, sculpted with care and signed & dated.
Her eyes are green.
She measures over 18 inches and weighted over 5 lbs.
Her little body is filled with mini stones,pellets and poly-fil to create a realistic feeling body and adds weight for the feel of a baby.
Her little head turns side to side.
You can pose and dress her....
