Description

Part Number ME0903 and Part Number ME1707 from Motenergy, Inc in one package.  Pelton Water Wheel and Aluminum Adapter.  The Adapter has a 7/8 inch hole, 3/16" keyway.  Comes with 4 stainless steel bolts to mount the wheel to the adapter.
The Pelton-type water wheel is for Hydro-Electric generation projects.  It measures 8.03 inches in diameter (204 mm).  It has 12 die-cast aluminum cups that are bolted to a center hub.  The Adapter Hub has a hole in the center on one side with 7/8 inch diameter for the generator shaft, and 12 mm on the other side for a mounting bolt.  There is a Shoulder with a diameter of 0.786 inches (20 mm) to center the Pelton Wheel on the Adapter, and 4 holes M5 threaded on a 1.38 inch (35 mm) bolt circle. This water wheel is brand new.
This is an Aluminum Wheel made for long life, not Plastic.
Each "cup" has an outside diameter is 1.820 inches (46 mm).
The inside diameter is 1.460 (37 mm), and the total height is .700 inches (17.8 mm).
The deepest part of the cup is about 0.400 inches (10.1 mm).
For larger diameter wheels, simply make a larger center hub and bolt the cups to the new hub.
The nozzle should be located about 3.5 inches from the center of the wheel, tangent to the diameter.
This will provide the most torque and power.
The Aluminum Adapter is made to mount any of the Motenergy PM Generators (Sold separately).  We have 4 different models of generator available.
