Vintage Pair Stockinette Dolls

This pair of very vintage stockinette dolls are a bit crazy and unusual! And I’ve loved them! The man resembles an adagio dancer to me, dressed in loose fitting ankle pants, a red vest with attached puffy cotton sleeves and a scarf tied around his neck. He wears a tall black silk hat and has a bit of white cotton hair peeking out. His shoes are real brown leather. His painted face features are delicate and expressive. His partner is a lady dressed for dancing, too, in a silk skirt that is torn and fraying, but I hope a collector can salvage. Over her skirt she wears a red printed apron which matches the scarf tied around her neck. Her bodice is sewn on her—turquoise silk with cotton puffed sleeves and she wears a green felt hat with bits of white cotton hair showing from under it. . Her shoes are real brown leather, also. Her panties match the print of her skirt. Both dolls need cleaning and the lady needs a skirt restoration. They are unusual and really would make a great addition to a collection, even without the TLC. I’ve never had dolls like these before, other than the pair I bought with them, which I have already listed. Please see photos and ask any questions you may have before you bid.
